KAT DAVIS
I am a self-taught artist; daughter and sister to an artistic and creative family. I work primarily in pastels and acrylics. My work has been described as hyper-realism, realism and expressionism but in truth, art is more a “feeling” than a “style.” Painting is an emotional experience in 2D which I strive to share with others. The compliment and contrast of light and shadow also play a prominent role in what I create. I am moved and motivated to paint what I feel about what I see and imagine.
